			      <description>The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe will hold its 88th Annual Powwow July 3rd-5th on Tribal Grounds at 483 Great Neck Road South in Mashpee.&amp;nbsp; The Powwow is a traditional celebration of Mashpee Wampanoag culture featuring Native American dancing, drumming, games, food, art, jewelry, wampum, gifts, crafts and clothing.&amp;nbsp; The Tribe is offering over $30,000 in prize money for dance and drum competitions throughout the weekend.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;Scheduled events and special performances include the Warwick Gombey Troupe from Bermuda, New England Birds of Prey, Wampanoag Powwow Princess contest, Traditional Canoe Race, Jazbo&amp;rsquo;s Indigenous Jazz Ensemble, a Fire Ball game and Clam Bake.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;The Powwow will feature Head Man Dancer Matt Boardley, Head Woman Dancer Brittany Smith, Master of Ceremonies Annawon Weeden and Arena Director David Weeden. &amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;The Mashpee Wampanoag Powwow is open to the public and offers events and attractions for the whole family.&amp;nbsp; Gates open at 10 am each day.&amp;nbsp; General Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for children and elders. &lt;br /&gt;</description>
