«« Return to This Weeks Events Alcatraz 40th Anniversary of Occupation   On Nov. 21, 2009, we will be holding a commemoration ceremony for the 40th anniversary of the Occupation of Alcatraz by Indians of All Tribes.  Join us at Pier 33 at 8:00 am, on Saturday in San Francisco to take a ferry over to the island. In particular, we'd love to see anybody that was an original occupier or anybody that spent time on the island during it's 19th month occupation. But everybody is welcomed! If you miss the first boat..just tell the ticket agent 'we're here for the occupation ceremony'.  See you there!
